Experience: I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including at-risk youth, adults, military veterans, couples, spiritual believers, and families. My work has taken me to various settings, from communities of incarcerated individuals to hospital psychiatric units, school systems, and professional offices. My clients are primarily those who are searching for answers to relationship issues, anxiety, depression, stress, and grief.
Training & Certifications:
Desired populations: The populations I work with include at-risk youth, adults, teens, military veterans, couples, and families.
Treatment modalities: My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of counseling techniques. While I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Counseling, I’m also versed in Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Behavior Modification
Specialties/Issues treated: My specialties encompass meditation, relaxation techniques, deep breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices. I also focus on enhancing communication skills and managing emotions like anger, anxiety, and stress.
Personal interests/Passions and Hobbies: In my personal time I’ve come to enjoy interior decoration. My passion is for my garden filled with flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Cooking is another hobby of mine, particularly creating gourmet meals using my homegrown produce. Baking has become increasingly enjoyable for me, influenced by the teachings of my mother. In fact, I’ve even extended my culinary skills to preparing nutritious meals for my Old English Dog, who has greatly benefited from the homemade diet.
